It’s a strangely quiet morning in my part of the city. Hangovers from yesterday I guess. Just a few hours ago, we said goodbye to 2014 forever. Hope yours left pleasant memories and beautiful stories to savour. Remember, learn from your mistakes, celebrate your victories and don’t forget to live in the process. Always works.
Oh my! Where are my manners? How can I forget to sincerely wish you a Happy, Happy New Year?
So so thrilled to see you in 2015!
Blogging last year for me was a
roller coaster ride- sometimes the words flowed, others were intensely dry. From losing a laptop (by ‘submission’…Please don’t ask what that means) and my precious Samsung T231 tablet (thanks to Lagos boys), to the rigors of switching jobs and tending a budding engineering career, blogging at all was more or less a miracle. I remember being ‘deviceless’ from July to October (gosh that was HAARDDD! ). Came out of that wilderness with some important lessons though- shared those right here.

But I’m here today – and because of you, dear
reader friend, it was all worth it. The interesting conversations (especially on whatsapp and BBM), the questions, the checkups (what’s happening? When are you coming back?), offline arguments…you kept me going. Thank you.
2015 is here and I’m excited about taking this journey with you.
I’m looking forward to a year of sharing clear and usable ideas; I mean stuff you can export into your daily existence for a richer and deeply fulfilling experience. Confident of God’s help with this.
I’m also looking forward to a year of meaningful conversations. We did a bit of that in 2014- let’s take it to the next level this year? As young people, we lurv to connect. We make friends, hang out, do business, find partners, and even date- all online. How about we spark up some really important conversations while we’re at it?
A few blogger friends may be coming, going, or returning (they know themselves…loll) this year so expect fresh voices and unique perspectives from different angles. The more the merrier, right?
There’s some other stuff in the works but it’s probably better if we just let them pop up along the way. Afterall, who doesn’t love a good surprise?
2015 is a great year- let’s share it together right here.
Okay then. It’s January 2 already and life ain’t waiting on us. Let’s get going.
Cheers to an exciting year of blogging and connecting!
