Make a joyful noise unto God, all the earth;

Sing forth the honour and glory of His name; make His praise glorious!

Hi,

It’s the last Sunday in February! Can you believe it? Two months gone already in 2015! Hope you’ve had a great year so far. If you’re still in ‘new year mode ‘, now might be a good time to snap out of it – time waits for no one.

As you go to church today, I’d like to encourage you to spend quality time in thanking God for all He has done in your life. See many times,we approach God like He’s one big genie up there whose only reason for existence is to carry out our wishes. But that’s not Him.

He’s a loving father and we should relate with Him that way. Imagine if the only time someone ever spoke to you was when they needed some form of help. You wouldn’t place much value on that relationship, would you?

Today, just for today, I’m challenging you to radically cut down on your requests and just devote more of your time to appreciating His past works in your life. Think about your family,  your life, health and the many times He’s come through for you.

You may not have all you desire at the moment  (who does?!), but I’m sure if you take a closer look, you’ll find multiple reasons to be grateful.

So today, sing for joy, lift your hands,  dance around and just celebrate God’s goodness in your life.
