This morning on my way to work, one question held me captive. How do I close the #GrowMyFire journey? What will be a worthy conclusion of this adventure? ( I guess that’s two questions)
We started on the first day of the month. Four weeks and 20 entries later, we breast the tape together. Hope you’ve had a great time.
Alot has been said (or typed) and several lessons shared. Thinking about it, there’s really nothing more to say.
You know your fire(s).
You know why you MUST develop and deploy same.
You know what to guard against in the quest to fan up the flames.
You know so much already. The BIG question is what will you do with what you know?
Never forget. Until knowledge tangibly alters your thoughts, habits and attitudes, you don’t really know yet. You think you do, but you don’t. True learning never ends with knowledge, it leads to action.
And that servant which knew his Lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
Our journey ends here; but your adventure must not.
There’s so much waiting for you on the other side of your fire – the fulfillment, the impact and above all, the approval from the Father when he says “well-done, good and faithful servant”. Trust me, that in itself is worth every minute you’ve invested along this journey.
I can’t wait to hear your heartwarming stories as you stick with your commitment to your fire. Seriously, i just can’t wait! Every day, make a fresh decision that you will do what it takes,
that you will give your best, no excuses,
that you will unleash every last flicker within your being,
not for the flimsy praises of men or to prove you’re better than someone else, but with a drive to honour your maker who planted that fire within and to benefit your world.
Then at the end of your journey, you’ll smile home, knowing that you came, you saw, your blazed.
Just think about it. Wouldn’t you love that to be your story?
I came. I saw. I blazed
It’s possible – you just need to start.
So that’s a wrap guys. We can’t say “thank you!” enough to you guys, our audience. You kept us on our toes (in a good way!), you asked questions and shared your progress with us. You opened up to us in ways that were truly humbling. Your enthusiasm fuels our fire to serve you better. We celebrate your dazzling future! We did it!
Go live the fiery life!
